Elaine Lyons has been president of the South Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce since 2003. Previously she worked in economic development at Oklahoma City Community College for 15 years. As President of the South Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce, her responsibilities range from long-term economic development to immediate implementation of civic improvements.
Immediate goals are to increase economic and business development along with community awareness in South Oklahoma City. She is active in several community organizations such as Women of the South (Board of Directors), Arts Festival Oklahoma (Executive Board), Earlywine YMCA Council, Capitol Hill Main Street Advisory Board, Moore Norman Technology Center Incubator program and Rotary Club of South Oklahoma City. She is a graduate of Leadership Oklahoma City Class XXIX. Elaine was also one of The Journal Record’s nominees for the paper’s annual Woman of the Year Award in 2005 and 2008.
Angela is the newest member of the South OKC Chamber, having joined in July 2015. She was raised in Oklahoma her entire life and graduated from the University of Oklahoma. Angela is a proud “Okie” who loves to watch her community grow. She is a family- and friend-oriented person who enjoys life’s great adventures! Angela and her husband, Michael, thoroughly enjoy any festival, fair, fiesta, exhibition, or local Oklahoma City event. As the South OKC Chamber’s Events Director, Angela hopes to create entertaining and successful events to help advocate the South OKC Chamber and the Oklahoma City metro area!
Jamie started her professional career in 1998 in the banking and financial industry. She has a strong sales back ground with a passion for customer service. She spends most of her free time with her family. Jamie is married to Robert Crowe, and together they have six boys.
Jamie and Robert are involved in their church and seek ways they can give back as a family to the community. Jamie is a member of the South OKC Rotary Club and previously served as president. Jamie also co-chaired the National Letter Carrier campaign of the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma. She serves on several boards. Jamie was born in Moore and is a graduate from Capitol Hill High School.
Liz Cromwell was born and raised in Oklahoma. She studied Education at the University of Oklahoma before moving to Guatemala. She taught for two years before taking the Principal position at a small international school. She spent 6 years exploring, adventuring, and working.
Liz returned to Oklahoma in June 2013 and joined the staff of Fields & Futures as the Program Director. Her love of athletics was a natural fit with the organization. She joined the staff at the South OKC Chamber in March 2015 as the Program Development Director. In this role, she hopes that she can help each member get the most out of their membership by providing practical programs that will help them build their business. In her free time, she can be found sitting on porches with friends, reading, or doing anything outdoors.
Vanessa joined the South OKC Chamber in 2013. She’s a fourth-generation Oklahoman with a background in journalism and public relations. She currently manages the front desk, Visitor’s Center and room reservations, while also managing Chamber communications. Vanessa has been married to her husband, Brandon, for 5 years. When Vanessa’s not at the Chamber, you can often find her hanging out with Brandon and their beloved fur-children, dog Shelby and cat Lady Cora.
Susie joined the South OKC Chamber in September 2016. She helps with managing the front desk and assisting in other projects. She has been married to her husband, Denny, for 35 years, and they have 1 son, 2 daughters, 3 grandchildren, and 8 fur-grandchildren. On her days off you can often find her on the tennis courts or spending time tending to her beautiful garden with her lovable Yorkies, Lucy, Toby, and Julius.
